Longer spent trying, trying til trying’s bent.
Spent longer working out why the working’s got a why.
It’s not like I’m competent, circular motion.
The group is a machine, the hard exterior keeps it clean.
An opening signifying where being can
resume.
The skin peels easily from the creature’s back.
Bound to make good use for something after all.
Pluck the eyes carefully, they land soft below
What the creature felt, what did it know?
I discovered these guys about a month ago and I'm obsessed. Alex has such a powerful voice and Paul's riffs are one of a kind. A unique band with a killer sound, heavy grooves and awesome melodies Anthony Rizzo
This one really goes deep. Tremendously heavy and bleak, yet crushingly groovy as well. You can easily see these guys destroying any venue they'd hit live with this. The heavy hitting slow to mid-tempo tunes are sort of tranceinducing. It's very easy to listen to it multiple times in a row or even get lost in it totally. mourner
Melvins fans will flip for this lost ’90s indie classic, with its sludgy guitars, hypnotic rhythms and irresistible hooks. Essential. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 13, 2020
I generally appreciate the album by album move away from hardcore towards extreme metal. Yet for me personally, this is where the balance is perfect. Kind of like Metallica's Ride the Lightning: subsequent albums were more sophisticated and complex, yet less intense, too. Great to come back to, again and again. jornfin
